Thank you to the Chat, Knit & Sew Group!
Every week the folks at Spring Meadows in the Chat, Knit and Sew group create items for various charities. Every December, they create a “Tree of Warmth” and this year the “Tree of Warmth” will be donated to the Tri-Town Knit a Thon. Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you at the library!

Here’s the publicity from the Stratford Library. Hope folks can join us.
Tri-Town Knit-a-Thon at the Stratford Library
Knitters of all ages are invited to participate in the first ever Tri-Town Knit-a-Thon, hosted by the Stratford Library Association along with Monroe’s Edith Wheeler Memorial Library and Trumbull’s Fairchild Nichols Memorial Library. Give the gift of warmth this holiday season. Knit or crochet scarves and hats to benefit area children’s charities with meetings held at all three libraries. Knitters should plan to bring their own supplies and may knit at scheduled meetings or at home. All contributions should be dropped off to one of the 3 participating libraries by December 15. In Stratford, knitters are welcome to meet in the Children’s Department Book Nook on Mondays in November at 3:30 p.m. Other meeting times can be found at www.3townknit.wordpress.com or by calling the Stratford Library at 203.385.4165.
